Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County in Springfield, Illinois

help build affordable housing springfield ilHabitat for Humanity of Sangamon County is a community-driven nonprofit organization that develops working partnerships with local businesses, churches, community organizations and other individuals to build simple, decent and affordable housing for all God’s people in need.

Since its founding in 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County has built 76 houses in the local community (including builds in Pawnee, Glenarm, and Grandview as well as in Springfield) while providing shelter for more than 300 individuals.

The 2009 Build Season is underway! Discover the hands-on learning experience of working with others towards the common goal of building a house for a family in need in your local community.
